If you ask Rick what he thinks is the most important thing in his life, he would say spending time with his family. Whether they are going for walks, traveling, or just spending time at home, what matters is that they are together.
Rick graduated from the CA School of Business in 2011 and has been in public practice since 2007. Surprisingly, prior to this he majored in Biology at the University of British Columbia and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree. When people ask him why he was in sciences, he jokes that it was the only way his parents would help with his tuition.
The best decision he ever made from a career perspective was being part of the online accounting world. He doesn’t think he could ever go back to not having the ability to see financial information in real-time. It just doesn’t make sense in today’s world!
